Only a baby

There is a moose & her calf that use the woods in our back yard as a pass through. I was chasing the naughty dog two days ago and saw their tracks in the snow. Apparently the baby is pretty brave and came into the yard overnight.

Walking!

Jack has gotten pretty good at walking. He still stumbles but makes it a good distance.

Feeble attempts

Since I got my spiffy and soon out-dated digital SLR camera back in the winter of 2010 I have been trying to capture some decent pictures of the Aurora Borealis or the "Northern Lights". It can be quite mesmerizing watching the sky dance across your driveway. Well, I am far from being skilled at adjusting all the settings on the camera to try and capture a clear picture, but after two years this is the best that I've done. Last night at about 8:30 the lights were really active and bright.
