~ happy easter ~

Woke up this morning to a chick making funny chirps.  I think it might have been crowing.  I have had my suspicions that this particular bird wasn't a hen.  I hope I'm wrong!  Jack woke up shortly after and hunted eggs.  This afternoon I am going to try my hand at corned beef for the two of us.  We'll see.  Happy Easter to everyone!

We decorated Easter Eggs this morning.  It was a pretty intense process.  Jack and Tug enjoyed themselves.

Growing up

Friday (22 March) was Jack's last day in his old class. The past two weeks he's been spending half the day in an all toddler class. It was a bitter-sweet good-bye, as his old teachers have been with him since he was six weeks old. He is doing okay in his new class but he's very emotional and has his ups and downs. Lots of new kids and he's not quite sure about them. Friday afternoon we stopped by his old class to say thank you and good-bye and his old friends had made him a picture. We will miss his old class very much, but he's already learning new things in the new room!
