Perfect timing!

Jack had to stay home from school. Again. He had a rash last night before I picked him up and he has to stay out for 24 hours even with a doctors note. The mail lady dropped off a package from Auntie Heather, Drew, Ethan and Riley. It was Jack's birthday present and inside the box was a puppy guitar! What a great surprise for a sick day.

Winter is here!

The weatherman has been threatening snow all week. Yesterday the town of Palmer (300 miles south, near Wasilla) got about an inch of snow. This morning I woke up to let Tug outside, checked the temp (32) and saw this:
